Abstract Beam

One of my first abstract architectural pieces. What you’re looking at is a supporting beam for the roof of a restaurant. The whole of the roof is supported on 2 such beams. The beam was made to resemble a tree-meets-fountain sort of structure, and it has concealed lighting to give it the “oomph” effect.

It was quite a difficult shot to achieve since I had no tripod or stands with me. And to make matters more difficult it was on Friday night – which is one of their busiest days. Luckily though, I managed to get the shot with the right settings. A bit of brightness and contrast adjustments worked marvellously as well.
