Playful Inuka, Singapore Zoo’s locally born polar bear is a delight to watch. I’m personally not a big fan of the zoos purely because of the way the animals are treated. However Singapore zoo came as a very pleasant surprise, and Inuka has been provided with an area which is the size of a couple of basket ball courts put together. Combine that with the beautiful ambience, and Inuka feels right at home (at least I think so). Built to resemble the arctic habitat, the Frozen Tundra has a cool temperature, an ice cave with a waterfall, and a large pool filled with giant ice blocks. Inuka was even kind enough to show us some cool swimming techniques. This was caught during one such dive. The photograph itself was a bit tricky to take due to the extreme low lighting, and since Inuka kept moving, a tripod did not help much. A bit of noise reduction was done on the original image, and thats all.
